I have just left Manzanillo to head towards Sixaola. It's a small town on the edge of Panama. I will soon discover a new country.

First of all I would like to tell you how much fun I had in Manzanillo! I met nice people.

The road that leads to Manzanillo was built in 1984. It allows you to leave the festive atmosphere of Puerto Viejo to arrive in a pretty, very quiet little village. If you want the tranquility of a small place by the sea.

I spent 3 nights at Pangea Lodge . This is a small, friendly hotel with wheelchair access.

Very clean room.

I recommend room 5 because it is located near the kitchen and the swimming pool. My room was about 100 yards from the beach. A truly perfect place to spend some quality time. The Wi-Fi connection is excellent, I was able to take advantage of it to make small contracts with schools. Indeed, I organize virtual meetings between teachers and parents.

The main interest in going to Manzanillo is to love nature, since you will be a few steps from the Refugio Nacional de Vida Silvestre Gandoca - Manzanillo. It is a wonderful place where you can hear howler monkeys, birds and even see Lapas .

School visit - Manzanillo

I had the chance to go for a short trip to a school to see how the Costa Rican school system works. Here is a little video proof...it was a magical moment.

The road to get to Sixaola was still difficult here is my route on Strava . I had some cramps in the evening! Not easy!!!

Tomorrow I will be in Panama !!! Unbelievable. I still have 1.5 km to go....

I can not believe it!
